29 WEEKS & LIFE LATELY

hello third trimester!!
it's so crazy to think how close we are to meeting our little man and puts me into a semi panic attack knowing that we have so much to do with the kiddos' rooms between now and then.

weight gain:
i had an appointment last friday where my doctor told me i have gained 20 pounds so far then processed to tell me that when i was pregnant with madelyn i had only gained 6 pounds. talk about a difference. i definitely feel a lot bigger and more tired then i did with m but then again i have m now. of course to cure the news i went to publix and bought items to make an ice cream sundae, i feel much better now.

the little man:
within the last few weeks vy and i may have agreed on a name for the little guy. vy is ready to commit but i'm not ready. we're been teaching madelyn how to say his name and have talked with our parents about it. so far everyone is on board.

clothing:
i've been rocking maternity clothing since about 12 weeks. this time around the bump has definitely shown up a lot quicker which forced me to purchase some strechy waistband clothing. i am so happy that the weather is starting to warm up so i can wear dresses every.single.day.

sleep:
overall, i'm sleeping pretty well. there are times that i am woken up by a charlie horse which makes me pop out of bed like there's a fire and freaks vy out (haha!) but other than that we are doing well.

movement:
there is lots of movement although when i try to get vy to feel, little man seems to call it quits.  takes me back to when i was pregnant with madelyn. those little movements are amazing and reminds me why i love being preggo.

cravings:
moe's. yes moe's. i can't get enough of the taco salad. i need it at least once a week. pistachios. really just ben & jerry's pistachio pistachio ice cream. lemonade, really love simply raspberry lemonade. eating a lot of fruit which is what i did when i was pregnant with m too.

in other news ... our home is currently on the market. we decided over a month ago that we would list our lovely home in hopes of finding a better layout before the baby. it hasn't gone exactly how we thought but we have a timeline in which we can still work with. we are hoping that someone will love our home as much as we did when we first found it and we are hoping for that perfect buyer to come a long any day now. if not, we'll stay until after the baby arrives. it's crazy i know to be this far along attempting to sell a home and stresses me out a little when i really start to think about how many weeks are left but we're staying positive.

for now, i am planning on designing madelyn's big girl room and we'll most likely make this tranisiton with her next month. then we'll work on setting up the little man's nursery.
